An elderly woman was injured when she was struck by a car in the 3600 block of South McClellan Street while walking her dog on Sunday. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

The dog, a black lab mix weighing approximately 40 pounds, has been reported missing. Police have asked anyone who sees the dog to call 911. It may have a leash attached to its collar and may have injuries. If you do see the dog, reference SPD report number 2016-227401 when you call in.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The driver involved, also an elderly woman, remained on the scene and cooperated with officers. Police do not suspect that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.

  1. I like the way you think…I thought something similar myself, but I too don’t care if the actual shower scene is included…it’s the spirit of it that is important.   0 likes
